Vision & Objectives
The International Centre for Multipolar World (IFMW) is an initiative of Aryavart Navnirmaan International Foundation (ANIF).
The Vision for India's Global Leadership in a Multipolar World Order is rooted in democratic global governance, strategic autonomy, economic justice, a rule-based international order, and reforming and reshaping global institutions. This normative aspiration draws from India’s historical commitment to non-alignment, South–South solidarity, and anti-imperial internationalism, while adapting to the imperatives of globalisation, power shifts, and strategic realignments.
The model of world order has changed dramatically in the postwar era from the bipolarity between the US and the Soviet Union that characterised the Cold War, to a period of unipolarity after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1989, when the US became the world’s sole superpower, to complex multipolarity following the Global Financial Crisis in 2008.
About ANIF
The purpose of Aryavart Navnirmaan International Foundation (ANIF) is to promote and strengthen the Global Leadership of India that is going to be an Emerging Superpower. One of the initiatives of ANIF is the New Delhi Dialogue – Empowering the Youth of an Emerging Superpower. This is a forum for Debate, Discussion, and Deliberation on contemporary international and domestic issues.
